Jouer Cosmetics' Hydrating Lipstick in Simone is the perfect red lipstick for those of you who are afraid of the shade. Simone's pinky undertones don't make your teeth look yellow- which is a big thing I look for in red lipsticks! As for the lipstick itself, it has a typical lipstick scent, reminiscent of when I was a kid watching my grandma apply lipstick when I was visiting her. Some people don't like the scent, but I don't mind it because you only smell it when you are applying it. It's a very lightweight lipstick, so I don't feel like it is drying or going to budge too much, since I can hardly feel it. It isn't a matte finish like Smashbox Infrared, it just has a hint of sheen to it. I think this is a great red for all ages.
