Lately I’ve been seeing a ton of influencers posting about SK-II, especially when they announced Cate Blanchett as their new spokesperson. So, I’ve been intrigued to try this anti aging Asian-inspired brand. I was sent their Facial Treatment Mask & Facial Treatment Essence to try. Both of these products are infused with Pitera, which is created during the fermentation process of sake. It’s rich in amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and organic acids.

My favorite product was the Facial Treatment Mask by far- which costs a whopping $135! I’m so glad I didn’t realize that before using it- otherwise I may have cherished it like a precious jewel and never used it. I’m also glad that instead of wearing it for 20 minutes, I basically lounged around wearing this mask for an hour-until some of it had dried out. This is the most luxurious mask I’ve ever tried- the cotton is very thick and comfortable to wear on your face and the essence smells great and does a great job at moisturizing skin.

The Facial Treatment Essence (full size $165), is over 90% Pitera, this essence is perfect to apply after cleansing skin with a cotton pad. It moisturizes & smooths skin, almost like magic.

I loved these products- there’s something so luxurious about them- I really want to try more SK-II, like their Treatment Oil & Cleansing Oil (can you tell I like oils). If you’re looking for a new high end skincare brand to try, definitely check out SK-II!
