Jouer Whitney and Olivia Lipstick Swatches — Jouer Olivia and Whitney

Jouer came out with 4 new lipsticks for spring 2013: Kate, Meg, Olivia, and Whitney. I have Olivia and Whitney to share with you today! Jouer’s lipsticks are paraben free and contain Brazilian cupuacu butter for moisture. Kate is a creamy poppy pink, Meg is a creamy honey pink, Olivia is a Creamy poppy peach, and Whitney is a new demi-matte formula that is bright pink!

Of course I was over the moon when I spotted “Olivia” lipstick, a creamy peach shade. Olivia is a hydrating lipstick formula and has a pretty glossy finish.

On my lips, Olivia looks much lighter, almost like a nude! I wish it looked more orange, but it’s still a great formula.

Whitney, a bright pink, is in a new demi-matte formula, which is pretty exciting! I love this bright shade for spring and summer.

On the lips it is a gorgeous hot pink. This is definitely my favorite of the 2- I can tell I’ll be wearing this often for the upcoming warm seasons!

Jouer Simone Lipstick Swatch (2) — Jouer Cosmetics’ Simone Lipstick

Jouer Cosmetics’ Hydrating Lipstick in Simone is the perfect red lipstick for those of you who are afraid of the shade. Simone’s pinky undertones don’t make your teeth look yellow- which is a big thing I look for in red lipsticks! As for the lipstick itself, it has a typical lipstick scent, reminiscent of when I was a kid watching my grandma apply lipstick when I was visiting her. Some people don’t like the scent, but I don’t mind it because you only smell it when you are applying it. It’s a very lightweight lipstick, so I don’t feel like it is drying or going to budge too much, since I can hardly feel it. It isn’t a matte finish like Smashbox Infrared, it just has a hint of sheen to it. I think this is a great red for all ages. I don’t wear this as much, since red isn’t my favorite shade on me, but I know I’ll be picking it up for this holiday season!
