GLAMGLOW recently launched a few new products although I was a bit wary as first due to my sensitive skin, I’m super impressed! There are 3 new releases that are available at Sephora now. 2 cleansers and a bubbling sheet mask. If you’re a skincare junkie, I’m sure you’ll find at least one product you want to try!
The GLAMGLOW GALACTICLEANSE is a hydrating jelly balm cleanser that’s 1: black, and 2: filled with GLITTER! It looks like an actual galaxy. It also smells delicious- the same creamsicle scent that their GLOWSTARTER moisturizer has. I think this product is the coolest thing (aside from that gold mask they recently did…my dream), but had to put it to the test to make sure it wasn’t just a gimmick. I used it to remove my makeup and was pleased to see it removed every trace of makeup. The texture is so nice, thick, and jelly-like, and is super similar to using a cleansing balm or oil. I was pleasantly surprised that I had 0 specks of glitter on my face afterwards. However, there was a little oil residue that doesn’t completely wash off. It’s not a deal breaker, but it would prompt a double cleanse which not everyone has time for.
The GLAMGLOW SUPERCLEANSE is a cream to foam cleanser that looks kind of like a charcoal clay mask. When you use it, it does lather a bit but not much. This product wasn’t my favorite as it has a huge minty scent and tingly sensation, which, I know a lot of people enjoy, but I’ve never been a fan of! Despite that, it doesn’t irritate my skin at all, which I was happy about, as this seems like the type of product that would irritate me.
The GLAMGLOW BUBBLESHEET is a new take on one of the more recent face mask trends: carbonated bubble masks. They can be kind of messy to apply, so the idea of making them a sheet mask is pretty genius. They’re a pricy sheet mask, at $9, but it’s worth trying once. The black facial sheet they soak the bubble essence in is very soft and not too thin or thick, which I appreciate because a ripped sheet mask is the worst. Since the mask bubbles up, I did find it sliding around a bit, but sometimes masks like this just demand you to take a 20 minute break to lay down and chill. This one also surprisingly had the creamsicle scent which I was NOT mad at to say the least…my skin felt tingly, smooth, and brightened after this mask…especially my forehead! It’s so fun to pop the layer of bubbles that forms.
Overall, I think these products are worth trying, if you think they’re up your alley. I’d say pass on the SUPERCLEANSE, because the GALACTICLEANSE can’t be beat! Plus, for mask junkies, the BUBBLESHEET is super unique and unlike any other sheet mask I’ve seen in the past few months…Now I’m excited about GLAMGLOW again, as, I thought my skin was too sensitive for their products after reacting to some masks. Yay!
