Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster is a product targeted as an extra shot of moisture to add to your current moisturizer. It contains ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid and Algae Extracts to hydrate skin. I think this product can easily be used on it’s own for people with oily skin, or as a daytime moisturizer for normal/oily skin types. I mixed it with my moisturizer at night, and used it alone occasionally as well. I think it provides a decent amount of moisture, but my skin didn’t feel like it was more moisturized than normal. When used on it’s own, in combination with acne treatments, my skin felt a bit dry in those areas. I didn’t have any dry patches with it, though, so that’s good! I’d definitely recommend mixing it, though. The main thing I didn’t like about this product was the packaging. I find it pretty hard to open when you first get it, and then I don’t think it’s 100% secure once it’s closed. I doubt I’d travel with it! It’s reminiscent of the caps of plastic water bottles.
I don’t think I’d repurchase this product, but it isn’t bad. Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster costs $56 online & at stores that Dermalogica is sold (ULTA). Receive 15% off any booster purchase at Dermalogica.com with code BOOST until 5/31/14!
