It’s almost time for school to start (some have even already begun!), and whenever I’m on campus I like to think of several snack ideas to keep me satiated throughout the long school day. This semester, I’m going to be on campus from around 12:00 to 9:00 PM! During my short class breaks I may not have time to grab a full meal, so snacking is crucial. I like to come up with a few savory snacks along with a few sweet snacks, because I have the biggest sweet tooth! Since I don’t always have time to make my own snacks, I pick up a lot from the store. I like M&M’S® Crispy because they are easy to find, affordable, and delicious. I lost 40 pounds last year, and even with that I didn’t diet or restrict my eating that much, it’s all about portion control. I could never give up my sweets, so if you eat in moderation you can eat whatever you’d like, as long as it’s combined with exercise. One package of M&M’S® Crispy counts as 2 servings at 90 calories each. If you split the package between midday and night, you have 2 snacks under 100 calories! I can’t say no to that. If you have a sweet tooth but don’t want to compromise your diet, I recommend having 1 serving per day, or only using your sweet treats as a reward. Have a big test? Reward yourself after studying or for achieving a good grade with some chocolate. Or, every chapter in your textbook you read, or answer you get right in a practice test, snack on a few M&M’S as a reward! Chocolate is the perfect motivation. I ate these a lot when I was studying abroad, because they are a regular flavor in Europe- but they didn’t have them back in the states until this year. As you can see by the below Facebook post from February, I was super excited to have my M&M’S® Crispy again! Sound off in the comments: what’s your M&M’S® flavor of choice?
Lovvvvved these when I was in Italy, they finally launched them here!
