As you may already know, I’ve been crazy about the “oxblood” trend for fall, and have carried it on through winter. I love Wet n Wild’s cherry bomb lipstick, but I wanted more! I had a ton of empty MAC products (mainly brush cleanser), so I grabbed 6 and headed to the nearest MAC to trade all of them for a brand new lipstick! I love the Back to MAC program, don’t you? I instantly gravitated towards Media, a dark cherry lipstick that looked pretty similar to my beloved Cherry Bomb.

And, once I swatched it, I knew I was in heaven. It’s a very buildable burgundy shade, so if you’re scared of dark shades, don’t be!

And here it is on my lips. It was a pain to photograph, but it looks gorgeous in person. I’ve been wearing it a lot, so try to spot them in my YouTube videos! 😉

Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick Cherry Bomb — Cherry Bomb

As you already know, I’m a big fan of Wet n Wild‘s Megalast lip colors, as I’ve blogged about some other shades before! I was looking for a deeper red that was more pigmented than the ones I already had, and this was the perfect shade and price ($1.99)!

This lipstick is gorgeous and highly pigmented. I love how long these lipsticks last, and the price doesn’t hurt, that’s for sure! Not only does this lipstick look great in the tube, it’s a perfect fall and winter lipstick shade.

It’s matte with a slight sheen, but I definitely want to try it out with some loose powder pressed on top to make it ultra matte, or even add a gloss to make it look like a glossy lacquer.

Don’t you think it’s gorgeous? I can’t wait to rock this with my burgundy purse that’s on it’s way to me now! Too bad my Invisalign wears most of it!
