I recently went to an event at Nordstrom where Jouer was giving some makeovers, and the makeup artist used this combination on my lips, so I knew I had to have it! Ava Lipstick and Monaco Lipgloss are a part of Jouer’s Perfect Red Fall Collection, and they really do make a perfect red lip. Ava is described as a blood orange red and Monaco is a sheer red.

Anyways, this lip combo makes a gorgeous blood red that is perfect for any occasion.

Jouer Monaco Moisturizing Lip Gloss ($20) makes a great sheer red lip on it’s own. This gloss formula is my absolute favorite because it is lightweight and non-sticky. I hate few things more than I hate sticky gloss! I’m actually bummed because I lost my mini sample size while I was on vacation, but at least I had it long enough to take a pic of it!

Jouer Ava Hydrating Lipstick ($22) is a gorgeous warm red lipstick with orange undertones. I love my orange lips, so it’s pretty surprising to me that I haven’t picked up a red-orange lipstick yet! I like this creamy formula, and the color looks great on as well. I get tons of compliments on it when I wear it- it’s my new go-to red! Two other red lipsticks I love are Jouer Simone, and Smashbox Infrared, both of which are a lot cooler toned, so this shade is unique in my collection! (P.S. I am using a touch of a burgundy lip liner around my lips, just because I was experimenting!)
