The BeautyCon Spring Box has just arrived (yesterday, actually) and I’m here to spill what’s inside. I loved the BeautyCon December box so much that I pretty much ripped this one wide open when it arrived at my doorstep before work yesterday. This box is curated by 3 different beauty influencers (none of which I have heard of…am I getting old?). I feel like BeautyCon is using multiple medium sized influencers instead of one huge influencer because I don’t think any of those girls know eachother- just me? Anyways, enough of the sidebar- let’s get to the good stuff.
This box featured several brands that I’ve gotten before, and recently, so I’m not sure if I’m a fan of that. Garnier & Luxie were both in the winter box & The Brow Gal (and Luxie again) were in the Fall box. I’d love to see a bit more variety in brands, or at least skip a season in between repeats. I don’t mind getting Luxie a lot, because I like getting brushes in general, as opposed to hair or skin products.
Here’s what’s in the box:
- Cargo Cosmetics Around The World Eyeshadow Palette
- Dirty Little Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Rust
- Garnier Micellar Wipes
- IBY Beauty Blush in Peach Sheen
- Luxie Rose Gold Duo Fibre Powder Brush 516
- NUXE Shimmering Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse
- NYX Bright Idea Stick In Rose Petal Pop
- OGX Orchid Oil Color Protect Spray
- The BrowGal Convertible Brow: Powder to Pomade Duo Universal
- The BrowGal Brow Brush & Spoolie
Overall I’m pretty pleased with the box. I was pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous neutrals in the Cargo palette (I feel like most full size palettes in boxes are always unpopular palettes that they’re trying to get rid of-just me?), and I really like the wipes. I always love getting brushes, so the powder and brow brushes will be added to my arsenal. I’m a fan of OGX oil sprays, so I’m sure this one is great as well, and Dirty Little Secret looks like a new & interesting brand to keep on your radar!
Want to save $5 on your BeautyCon Box? Use code OLIVIASPRING before June 1, 2017 to get your own. It’s $29 for a seasonal subscription (1 box), or $24 when you use my code. The boxes are only available to ship in the U.S.! Every box I’ve gotten has had cool products and brands and is well worth the value if you aren’t overloaded with makeup as I am. I like to pick & choose from the boxes and hand off things that aren’t for me to friends and family, as, it’s probably impossible to love everything in every box!
