As soon as I heard beautyblender was coming out with mini versions of their original cult fave beauty sponge, I was sold and knew I needed one! Although it’s been a while since they were released, I finally got my hands on some thanks to my friend Iman for Christmas! The beautyblender micro.mini sponges ($17.95 for 2) are 1/4 of the size of the regular beautyblender, with a lime green color! They’re meant for under eye concealer, highlighting, contouring, and just any other small area you want to apply makeup to.

These sponges are so cute and little! Just like the original beautyblender, they double in size when damp and make for a perfect makeup application. They are also super easy to clean with the beautyblender cleansers. Although in my opinion they give the same effect as the original beauty blender, I like having these because they really come in handy for my undereye concealer. I haven’t delved into the realms of highlighting and contouring with them, since I prefer to use sponges with cream products which I don’t use for highlighting or contouring, but I’m sure they work great.  I wouldn’t consider these as much of a must have as the original, but they do a fabulous job and are worth the buy if you are looking for a more precise application!
