Jouer Lip and Cheek Tint in Honeysuckle Review — Honeysuckle

Jouer’s newest tint in Honeysuckle is a gorgeous sheer peach for the cheeks and lips. I only really use these on my cheeks, just because I always forget about these when it comes to the lips! These tints are really great cream blushes, even for oily skin! Cream blushes give such a beautiful natural finish to the cheeks. I like to apply this with a brush and then blend it in with my fingers.

GLAMGLOW Mud Mask Review

I got a sample of the famed GLAMGLOW mask in a goodie bag and was extremely excited to try it, because I’ve heard great things! This mask is a great option for those of you with acne-prone skin. It contains volcanic rock, clay, green tea and more to purify the skin in this 10 minute “facial in a jar,” (or tube).

It’s a green clay mask with darker bits that exfoliate the skin when you apply/remove it. Leave this on for only 10 minutes, because it is very tingly! If you have ultra-sensitive skin, this mask may not be for you, because it may burn! It dries rock-hard and once washed off, leaves skin soft as a baby’s bottom. I really liked this mask, but with it’s $69 price tag, I’m not so sure I’ll be running to purchase it at Sephora!

Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo Review — Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is a must-have to make a hair style last an extra day or two. I’ve tried quite a few of them and have finally found the holy grail with René Furterer’s Naturia dry shampoo! As a brunette, it is extremely hard to find the perfect formula- many are too wet or too white, or a combination of the two. I was a big fan of Freeman’s Pssssst! Dry Shampoo because it was the best I had tried, but René’s blows it out of the water. It contains rice powder, corn starch, clay, and silica to absorb oil in the hair, along with caraway, basil, and peppermint oils to clean and balance the scalp.

As you can see, it sprays on very white, but that’s not a problem! Since it is formulated without water, the dry shampoo is truly “dry,” and brushes out as easily as it was sprayed in! It also adds some volume, so hair goes from drab to fab in seconds! It is a little pricy, at $24 online at Dermstore, but for a product that actually works? Totally worth it!

NOTD: OPI You’re Such a Budapest

I’m going to start posting more NOTD’s- I feel like I always forget to post whenever I polish my nails…and today that’s going to end! I decided to put on OPI’s You’re Such a Budapest, from the Euro Centrale collection, it’s a gorgeous lavender with a hidden touch of sparkle. I feel like I’ve been wearing a lot of purple on my nails lately, and this one is a nice one! I’d love to see it on my toes!

I used 3 coats total, because the first was somewhat sheer. The formula was a little thin. It lasts a long time, just like other OPI shades! I really like the added silver shimmer, even though it isn’t that noticeable to the naked eye! What’s your favorite polish for spring?

Just when you thought Lip Tar couldn’t get any better, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics has done it again with the addition of Stained Gloss Lip Tars. I saw the above photo on their Instagram and immediately fangirled over them. They haven’t been releasing too much information about these babies yet- I know there will be 6 shades releasing on May 23rd! Hopefully I can get my hands on the orange, Androgyne, which looks amazing. The stained glosses seem to be the perfect product for those who aren’t fans of the matte finish of the regular Lip Tars. I’ll see if I can get any more information on these and report back…I just had to mention these today!
