This week’s manicure was from Essie‘s summer neon collection. I picked this gorgeous purple, DJ Play That Song. I don’t have any purples like this so I knew I had to have it! It is almost a jelly finish, because after 2 coats it was still pretty sheer. It dries matte, but after a top coat it is ultra-glossy…I love it! I can’t wait to wear this on my toes, because neon polishes have quickly become my summer must-have. Let me know what you think of this neon purple…and what is on your nails right now?
NOTD: Essie In The Cab-ana
On today’s NOTD post I’m wearing a gorgeous summer blue by Essie. This shade, In The Cab-Ana is a pretty aqua shade that I surprisingly love! I typically stray towards more girly colors, but I think I will be trading those in for some blue this summer! I had this applied to my tips at the On The Go beauty event and she applied 2 easy coats. I definitely recommend this shade- it’s just so fun! Also, don’t mind my cuticles…they didn’t do anything to them at the event so after acetone they got pretty messed up! That’s all I have to say about this one…short and sweet!
NOTD: OPI You’re Such a Budapest
I’m going to start posting more NOTD’s- I feel like I always forget to post whenever I polish my nails…and today that’s going to end! I decided to put on OPI’s You’re Such a Budapest, from the Euro Centrale collection, it’s a gorgeous lavender with a hidden touch of sparkle. I feel like I’ve been wearing a lot of purple on my nails lately, and this one is a nice one! I’d love to see it on my toes!
I used 3 coats total, because the first was somewhat sheer. The formula was a little thin. It lasts a long time, just like other OPI shades! I really like the added silver shimmer, even though it isn’t that noticeable to the naked eye! What’s your favorite polish for spring?

Pamper Me Fabulous LA 2013 at Vibiana
This past weekend I attended Pamper Me Fabulous at Vibiana in Downtown LA. I also attended last year and wrote about it on Nadine Jolie’s blog. If you’re unfamiliar with PMF, it is essentially a perfect ladies’ event full of shopping, seminars, and fun workouts. There are a plethora of brands selling beauty, fashion, food products, and more. Sponsors included Dermalogica, Vision Essentials, Body Boudoir, and Crazy Girl. If you’re interested in attending, there are events in Dallas, Chicago, Miami, New York, and they will be back in LA in November! Don’t forget to bring your girlfriends!
Jessica Nails Amira/Smitten Kitten & OPI I Lilly Love You Swatch
Recently I wore this combo of polishes and I really liked it. Jessica’s Amira Smitten Kitten is from the It’s a Girl Thing spring collection, and OPI’s I Lilly Love You was from spring 2011. I don’t wear pink a lot but I thought that this would be a good combo!
This polish was an easy 2 coats, and I added 1 coat of I Lilly Love You on my ring finger for a little extra bling. I’m wearing this combo on my toes too and it’s holding up well! Jessica nail polishes are $7.50 online and OPI’s polishes are about $8.50 at ULTA.
