The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Review
I just realized I haven't posted a beauty post since last year, which blows my mind to think about since it's the reason why I started a YouTube channel/blog 11 years ago...Who would have thought it would have taken 1 month of quarantine to start my blog up again?
Anyways— I decided to make a cute little ULTA order the first week or so of quarantine-ing that was all skincare goodies. There's something about being stuck in your house 24/7 that really makes you want to mask all the time, eat all the food, and light all the candles. I had *always* wanted to try The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, but it was always out of stock!
I've been super into TikTok lately and kept seeing this peel pop up on my for you page, so I decided to see if it was in stock, and voila— $7.20 later and that baby was mine!
This product's designed to be a quick 10 minute exfoliating facial including 30% AHA (including Glycolic, Lactic, Tartaric, and Citric Acids) and 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid). I love all things lactic acid (The Ordinary has a few lactic acid exfoliants too), so I had a feeling I'd be really into this...and she was RIGHT.
Using this at night (I'd only do 1-2x a week max) on clean, dry, skin gives my skin an instant glow (thanks to those AHAs), and then, after applying my full skincare routine after washing it off, I wake up with skin as smooth as a baby booty! I'm a fan. I've only used it maybe 3-4 times in the month I've had it, but with that low price and super quick results I think it's a no brainer to buy.
Check this product out if you're looking for a pretty nice peel that's a lot of bang for your buck. (also...that Sephora Spring Sale is coming up, y'all). It's also fun if you want to look like you rubbed period blood all over your face! #moonsisters 🤣
