My Skincare Routine feat. Sulwhasoo
A few months back I went to a Sulwhasoo event celebrating their First Care Serum Activating Serum EX. I've tried only one other product prior to this event, a cream, that I really enjoyed because it was so hydrating and made my skin flawless. So, once I received all of these amazing products- they basically have become my only skincare line I use (aside from face cleanser, because I haven't tried any of theirs!)I don't use a ton of product on a daily basis, but I've been using several Sulwhasoo products regularly the last few months and have noticed a difference in my skin. My skin has been so good lately, and it's totally because of these products. For those unfamiliar, Sulwhasoo is a high end Korean skincare line that uses holistic ingredients that benefit skin, such as Ginseng, and I also learned how to get rid of acne holes so I can keep my skin in a perfect condition. Check out the below video, which explains their ingredients WAY better than I could!:All of the products are amazing and have made my skin texture so smooth, but if you're on a budget, the serums are your best bet, because the masks actually have the same serum (which is cool because it's just like an extra boosted treatment!)First off, the First Care Activating Serum EX, which is in this gorgeous limited edition gold packaging, is the #1 serum in Korea- and I can see why. I like it because it soaks into the skin, it isn't sticky or gel-like like I find most serums to be.I also just started using the Snowise Brightening Serum, since I liked the first one so much. This one claims to diminish pigmentation, but should not be confused with skin lighteners as it doesn't have any active ingredients to do such. Instead, it uses ginseng and licorice root. While brightening, I find that it doesn't necessarily change any sort of pigmentation in my skin, which isn't something I want anyways. I think this product makes my skin radiant & glow more than anything! The Snowise Brightening Sheet Masks are my favorite. They're great because they are bio-cellulose masks that are way better than fiber masks, as the gel-like texture sticks to the face and is much thinner to avoid any slippage. I like to mask a few times a week if it's a hydrating sheet mask like this. Again, like the serum, there's a certain radiance about the Snowise line.I also tried the First Care Activating Serum Sheet Masks, which are a traditional fiber mask so I didn't like them as much. But, I love how the masks correspond with the serum that they're soaked in!I'm a big oil fan. Yes, even with oily skin. So, the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Essential Oil is all me. It has ginseng & camellia oil in it. I slather this on over a serum at night and wake up with the softest skin with NO residue, which is a sign of a product that's just coating your skin & not absorbing. The Hydro-Aid Moisturizing Mist is cute, but it's not something I gravitate towards because my Pixi Mists work just as well. I don't use mists regularly, aside from during my makeup routine to make my skin look less powdery. I will note that some of the products have fragrance, so if you're sensitive I'd stay away. I have sensitive skin but these don't irritate me at all...but everyone's different!I'm not the hugest skincare snob, but I think these products are impressive & I'm dying to try more from the line. I did have a bit of sticker shock when finding out the prices, but I think it's clear that they preform well and are worth the price if you're the type to invest. You can find Sulwhasoo products at stores like NORDSTROM & Neiman Marcus, or online.**This post contains products that I have received for free – for more information, please read my Disclosure Policy**
