DIY Gallery Wall Home Decor feat. Fulcrum Gallery
DIY Gallery Walls are a really fun way to hang art in a nice fashion without having to do too much measuring. But, it an be hard to arrange all the art you have into the space you have. So, today I'm going to give you a tip as well as show you what I have hanging. In order to make your gallery wall easy: cut out paper bags in the size of your art and hang those on the wall to get an idea of how you want to arrange your wall. That way, you don't have to hold up each of the art pieces or accidentally hammer a nail where there shouldn't be one! I arranged my art but didn't care about the measurements in between each piece, it was all random. I then measured where to put the nails, in the center of each paper cut out. If your art has a wide lip ย in the back that would effect where the nail goes, make sure to count that when you measure where to place the nail! An inch down makes a huge difference. Then, hammer in all of your nails at a downward angle, place the art on the nails and make sure it's level! (I used an app)- voila! So easy anyone could do it.Now, as for the actual art in my mini gallery, my inspiration was the Andy Warhol Stamped Lips Print that I was sent from Fulcrum Gallery. I like how you can customize size, frames, and mats. From the above photo, the gold foil heart and lip print are from my friend Taryn's etsy shop TarynStMichele. I love the quality of her prints as they're on thick paper. I may want to get some prints from when I studied abroad from her! I used IKEA frames for those. The other gold foil print is of Italy from BoutiqueLumiere, also from Etsy. I can't say that I'd recommend that one as much as I thought the paper was super thin, and mine even came with a bit of a crinkle in it. Thankfully not noticeable with the frame on. I got the frame from IKEA as well- I want to replace the cream colored mat to white eventually.Lastly, the orange lipstick was painted by my younger sister Isabella.I think this gallery wall gives my working space a whole fresh feel and it makes a great background for my YouTube videos- if only my studio lights didn't reflect so much on the glass!**This post contains products that I have received for free-for more information, please read myย Disclosure Policy**
