MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam Miley Cyrus Lipstick and Lipglass Review, Swatches

If you guys know me, you know I'm a huge Miley fan. So, when I heard that MAC was partnering with Miley for Viva Glam, I was so excited! I couldn't wait to find out what color she picked, see the advertisement, and fast forward to now and it's finally out! Check out my video to see my first impressions & live swatches!:As you can see, I think MAC and Miley did a great job on this lipstick and lipglass. There's really something for everyone!The MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus Lipstick ($16) and Lipglass ($15) line features a popping hot pink hue in a buildable lipstick and disco-ball inspired lip gloss. I like how the lipstick and lipgloss aren't completely the same, so no matter what your beauty taste is, you can find something with this duo.Here's what the lipstick & lipglass look like on my sassy face. Great combo, don't you think?Check out all that glitter! The glitter specks are both a cool toned silver and pink. Miley herself said it was inspired by a disco ball! I also like that the gloss doesn't mess up the appearance of the lipstick- it doesn't get streaky or anything!The lipstick by itself, is a creamy hot pink that feels very natural. Miley said she didn't want it to feel like a lot of lipstick, and even enlisted her little sister Noah to try it out. And, bonus: the lipstick wears amazingly because it stains!The lipglass has a sheer pink color and is packed with that glitter. I was happy that the glitter didn't feel gritty at all, but as usual, MAC lipglasses are pretty sticky. But, as a person who doesn't normally love lipgloss, I didn't think it was too sticky. This gloss is great for a pre-teen and above to wear if they can't wear a ton of makeup, but it still spices up your look!If you aren't familiar, MAC's Viva Glam line donates 100% of the proceeds to the MAC AIDS Fund which helps out those affected by AIDS. So, whether you're a fan of Miley or not, definitely pick up one or both of these lippies, rock a bold lip, and support a great cause!
