bareMinerals Ready SPF 20 Powder Foundation in Fairly Light Review

bareMinerals Ready Foundation Fairly Light Review The bareMinerals Ready Foundation probably launched almost 2 years ago, and I've had it since it launched because I attended an event. However, I'll be honest...I didn't really *love* it, hence, I didn't post about it. The reason for that, is simply I couldn't figure out a good way to make it last well with my oily skin. After a few hours my face would get oily, making the powder look cakey, uneven, and separated. So, there it sat in my makeup drawers until I woke up super late for work and had to do something fast, and it worked like a dream.bareMinerals Ready Foundation Fairly Light Review (2)This product is impressive for quite a few reasons. First, it has SPF 20, which is not common for powders. It's also full coverage (or if you have a lot of issues with your skin, medium coverage). This foundation works best with the Precision Face Brush, and it's the only brush I use to apply it because it gives the best finish. The powder is available in quite a few shades, so you'll probably find 1 or 2 that will suit you. I wear Fairly Light, but in the winter I had to switch to Golden Fair. I accidentally applied it a few weeks ago and had a ghostly look- I don't know how I was ever that pale! But, in between seasons I can definitely mix Golden Fair & Fairly Light without any issues. I love that they have yellow undertones, because not many foundations do, so the shade match is nearly perfect. I have a lot of acne scarring, and this foundation covers the majority of the redness- I purposefully left my blemish (that was super red) in the photo below so you could see the coverage.bareMinerals Ready Foundation Fairly Light Review (3)Overall this foundation has become my lazy-day staple. Flawless coverage in less than five minutes? Sign me up. I'm sorry, bareMinerals, for the year that I neglected you! Now I'm lusting after their new bareSkin liquid foundation they launched!Find bareMinerals Ready Foundation at Sephora, Ulta, and bareMinerals boutiques for $29- a steal!Olivia Frescura Blog Signature 2014 3**This post contains products that I have received for free– for more information, please read my Disclosure Policy**
