I accidentally skipped two month’s worth of shelfies…I guess since I moved in the beginning of the year it just slipped my mind! Plus, I was using a ton of the same products. Thankfully, now I’ve added a handful of new and exciting products to my regimen, so what more perfect time to share?
Here’s what I’ve been slapping on my face the past few weeks, right after did the reconstructive nose job.
H2O+ Beauty just launched a new line of probiotic skincare, my favorite of which is the Probiotic Sorbet Moisturizer. You should get a skin cancer check every few years. This has a unique texture that starts off thick but when you rub it in it becomes watery. It smells amazing and works well as a lightweight moisturizer. I like using it with an oil on top!
I went to an Odacité event recently and was given a couple of products to try. While the Neroli serum is at the top of my list, this Vital Glow Serum with Wild Carrot is really nice. It definitely does smell like carrot though! They also just launched a Black Mint Cleanser, which isn’t my favorite because I don’t love the feeling products with mint give me. It does work nicely, though.
Fur is a line of pubic products for hair + skin. The Stubble Bundle includes their stubble cream and ingrown hair concentrate that will relieve and prevent ingrown hairs, razor burns, and bumps. They also have products for those that don’t groom, but all of their products are softening to both skin and hair.
Tatcha came out with a new cleanser, The Deep Cleanse, which I got a sample of. It’s nice and exfoliating but I prefer non-foaming cleansers that remove makeup.
OUAI‘s Rose Oil has been on my wishlist for a while. I love using this sample all over after I shower! It smells amazing and I like how it’s so multipurpose since you can use it for hair and body.
I’m a longtime fan of the Proactiv Skin Purifying Mask, which used to be called the Refining Mask. It has sulfur, which is great for combatting acne. A new mask I’ve been trying with the same purpose is the Sunday Riley Saturn Mask, which is a bit more of a pricy option but nice nonetheless!
A new brand that’s recently launched, Your Good Skin, had a launch event in Beverly Hills last month and I was stocked up with their products. The three I’ve been loving are the Comforting Gel Cleanser, which removes every trace of makeup, Balancing Skin Concentrate as a serum, and the Instant Dryness Rescue on days that I exfoliate. I’m impressed with them all so far! I just checked the prices for this review, and kind of shocked at how low they are! The cleanser is $7.49 at Walgreens…amazing!
Glossier‘s Solution has caused a bit of a raucous in the beauty community, both good and bad…but I surprisingly like it. I have super sensitive skin, so I decided to only test it on a smaller portion of my face before going all out, in case I’d get the rash and breakouts others spoke about. But, surprisingly it works for me and the first time I used it my skin felt amazing. I do still prefer to use Sunday Riley Good Genes for the most part, though!
And last but not least, the new Bliss face masks that I just reviewed! Full review was posted the other day, so I won’t elaborate…but out of the 3, the Mighty Marshmallow & What A Melon are my favorite. I’m not complaining about the $16 price tag either. 😉

P.S. if you want to know how I edited this photo…I took it on this new disposable camera style app called HUJI. Edited on VSCO + Facetune + Kira Kira and finished it up in photoshop. Lots of things.
