4/20 Essentials Feat. Whoopi & Maya and Malin + Goetz

Since 4/20 is tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to feature some cannabis products that you don’t have to smoke (lol 💨) in order to celebrate.

The MALIN+GOETZ Cannabis Candle ($54), which, although doesn’t contain any cannabis or hemp, is a sensual scent that you have to smell! To me, it’s one of those cologne-esque scents that smell like a man you want to be around. There’s citrus, pepper, and woody notes that blend together to make a super sexy scent. The brand also makes a hand+body wash and perfume oil with their Cannabis fragrance.  I’ll be reviewing the candle (and a Vetiver one) in full shortly- so stay tuned for that!

Whoopi & Maya is line of medical cannabis products aimed to target PMS & menstrual relief for women. Started by Whoopi Goldberg & Om Edibles founder Maya Elisabeth, the pair created a signature line of products that aid with common issues such as soreness, cramping, etc. Their products are simple yet effective: Soak, Rub, Relax, and Savor…all adjectives a girl wants to hear during that time of the month. I’m not really here to wax poetic on the benefits of medical marijuana or explain the differences between THC and CBD, so…I’ll just let you do your own research (their website is helpful) and just talk about my personal experiences with the products.

Soak bath salts (available in lavender, unscented, or their signature scent Amber Moon) are an elevated version of epsom salts…featuring oils, essential oils, and cannabis (THC) in order to help you relax and aid with muscle function.

Rub is a body balm with THC & CBD blended with botanicals such as beeswax, ginger, and St. John’s Wort to topically soothe, increase blood flow, and uplift mood. This one is great to apply on sore muscles or when you’re cramping.

Savor is their raw cacao (yes, chocolate), which is available in both CBD & THC variations (plus, an extra strength THC) to play into the fact that women crave chocolate when their hormones are out of whack. I crave chocolate basically 24/7 so I’m not mad at it. You can have it plain, drink it, or try it with fruit or toast as their site recommends.
