A few weeks ago, Stila previewed their Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow to Sephora VIB & VIB Rouge, so I picked up the Gold Goddess shade because I have been wanting to play with glitter- especially in an easier-to-use format!
These glitters are a liquid eyeshadow, so it’s a little more pigmented than a glitter liner. The shade I got, Gold Goddess, is a mix of gold & silver but just looks gold on the eyes. Sephora has 7 other shades available online.
Stila describes this as a long-wearing glitter eyeshadow, with a water infused texture. It comes with a doe foot applicator which you can use to apply straight to the eye, which is what I did in the above photo. Lately, for a less pigmented look, I’ve been wiping some product off the applicator before applying so I get less glitter.
I recommend you to let the product dry with your eyes closed for a minute so you don’t get any transfer. I read some reviews and some said they got glitter all over their face, but I don’t have a problem with that unless I was touching my eyes. If you’re an eye-rubber, I’d avoid this product as it would get everywhere, but, personally I don’t have a problem with fallout and I’ve already worn it a handful of times since I got it in the prelaunch.

I can’t wait to incorporate this into a glittery New Years Eve look! If you love glitter but hate the mess & difficulty of application, definitely check these out- I think they are a great replacement!

I’d love to see this used as an eyeliner. I was out with a friend last week and she used a gunmetal glitter shadow as an eyeliner, I meant to ask what she used, but this looks like it could work if it’s pigmented enough.
