After NYX found success with their Butter Gloss, they launched the NYX Butter Lip Balms. I recently got one of these in a gift bag and I was excited to try it out, because every girl needs a lip balm! I received the shade Red Velvet, which is a true red. This product is a tinted lip balm that gives glossy color to the lips while adding moisture.
On the lips it gives a subtle red tint (essentially pink) with a nice moisturizing balm consistency. I didn’t find that the balm was anything extraordinary, but if you love to have add a bit of color to liven up your lips every day, I think you will like this. And the best part of it is that it smells like sweet vanilla, just like the butter glosses. You really can’t go wrong with these $4 balms in my opinion, although I prefer the gloss because they give more color payoff. I’ve heard that NYX is coming out with butter lipsticks, so I am interested to see how those compare!

This sounds great. I have a similar product from Palladio that is also quite nice. Vanilla is a great scent.
