I was dying to get my hands on Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics new Stained Gloss Lip Tar as soon as I heard they were coming out…I think it’s awesome that they’ve come out with a new formulation of the already much loved lip tar. I can’t wait to see what they think up next!
Androgyne is described as a psychedelic orange gel…and that it is! The formula is very different from the original lip tar; it is much more sheer and glossy. I don’t find that this shade stains much, though. And because of those reasons, I find that I apply a lot more product than with the regular lip tars. I’ve been wearing my stained gloss religiously after purchasing it at PHAMExpo.
I think it is a very flatttering orange shade and I love the effect it gives. The gloss wears down pretty fast, but the hint of color sticks around for a while, much like after eating a popsicle. Check this shade out at Sephora for $18…now I’m almost regretting not getting any more shades! Next trade show…
