I haven’t posted a “Tangerine Tuesday” in what seems like forever, because honestly, I haven’t been buying many orange things because I’m pretty satisfied with what I have, and I’ve been obsessed with darker shades for fall and winter. But, Maybelline recently came out with a vivid lipstick line that included a few oranges so I knew I had to try one out! I picked the shade “Electric Orange,” for obvious reasons! Lol.
Electric Orange is a bright orange shade with a glossy finish. I find that it’s a bit red/coral toned, a little more than I’d like, actually. Regardless, I love the formula, they smell great, and are affordable, at only $7.49 each. I believe mine was only $5.99 at Target, though, but I don’t have anything to prove that!
It applies like a dream, and makes lips look uber juicy! See all of the shades swatched at one of my favorite blogs, BEAUTEZINE. Maybelline is providing the perfect blooming shades to introduce spring, don’t you think?
