Vegan Cuts Beauty Box Review (April)

I recently met Jill, the founder of Vegan Cuts, at an event last month and she was kind enough to send me a box to try out! I was super busy when I received this box, so I didn’t get the chance to film a video on it, unfortunately…but I am really impressed by it! If you’re unfamiliar, Vegan Cuts is a vegan (no way) box that comes in either beauty or snack options, so both guys and gals can enjoy their Vegan Cuts monthly! I had originally heard of them from their snack box, actually. Both boxes are $19.95 each and come out monthly. Another pro, is that they ship worldwide! Shipping is free to the U.S., but Canada & everywhere else have shipping charges. The Vegan Cuts Snack box is filled with 7-10 vegan treats. The beauty box features 4-7 vegan beauty products from cosmetics to skin care, which I’ll be sharing today! Anyways, onto the products!

• Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks: I love these fun face mask packs that you can find at ULTA for super cheap. Who knew they were vegan?! I liked the Green Tea Mask, but the Dead Sea Mud Tired Skin Reviving Masque (“for men”) was irritating to my skin. I’m not surprised, though, because I’ve had issues with some skin products lately.
• Orico London Rush Hour Vibrant Dry Body Oil: I don’t typically use body oils, but the citrusy scent of this one captivated me! I loved how silky smooth my skin became from using this. Bonus, it dries quickly enough so you don’t feel like a greasy mess. The sample only lasts about 3 uses for me though, it left me begging for more!
• Dazzle Dry Top Coat: I didn’t expect this bodybuilding steroids product to impress me, but it was my absolute favorite product in this box! I use Seche Vite top coat, which I have never found a “healthy” option for that dries just as fast with a shiny finish. This top coat performs the same as Seche Vite, maybe even better! It dries super quickly and gives a gel-like finish. I hate sample nail polish bottles, but because the product is so good I let it slide. I need to get my hands on the full size, along with some of their polish colors!
• Eden Allure Argan Oil: Argan oil is always great, I’m going to hand this over to my sister to put in her hair before she has diving practice, so the chlorine won’t mess up her hair!
• Jane Carter Solution Nourish & Shine: This product is a blend of butters, vitamins, and essential oils to moisturize hair. I have really oily hair, so this wasn’t really the product for me. Checking it out online makes it seem like it’s targeted towards women of color, so I am definitely not their target market!
• GlamNatural Lip Gloss: I didn’t use this product because I don’t really like lip gloss, and it’s also a color I wouldn’t wear if I did! As a beauty blogger, I typically screen which products I use because I don’t want to be wasteful. So, I find a new home for it or toss it in my giveaway pile!

Just like any box, it has a few hits and a few “misses,” but the hits were really impressive for me.
