For the past couple of weeks I have been testing out Orlando Pita’s Argan Haircare Collection, which is now available at Costco for $16.99. This line is a trio of hair products infused with argan oil. It includes a gloss shampoo, a gloss conditioning treatment, and a rejuvenating hair treatment oil. I have oily hair, so I was interested to see how Dr. Yates works and so – how this system would work on my hair!
All of these products smell amazing, kind of like vanilla and coconut. In the shower, I use the gloss shampoo to wash my hair, and then I put the gloss conditioning treatment on the bottom half of my hair, and let it set for a few minutes. After washing it out and getting out of the shower, I put the oil in my wet hair to prevent making my hair greasy. This combo gives the softest hair ever, with no frizz. I really enjoy using this set, even my sister loves it. I would note that since I have oily hair, I find that my hair gets oily somewhat fast with this combo, but, since it makes my hair dry super soft and straight, it’s a go-to for events. This set isn’t available on Costco online right now, but hopefully it’ll get restocked soon. If you have a membership, run to your nearest Costco and grab this! I bought the Orlando Pita shampoo, conditioner, and argan oil kit at Costco recently. It was recommended by my hairstylist Antonio Gonzales at Orlo Salon which is Orlando Pita's hairsalon. He told me how it is a new line of products and would be great for my new balayaged hair. These products are amazing! It takes away any frizz and leaves my hair shiny and silky and "not" greasy. I highly recommend it for people with dry, colored, or highlighted hair. It can be purchased only at Costco or online.

I liked the product and oil for my natural curly hair…however, the smell of this shampoo is horrible. It smells like a fake bubble gum. I seriously thought I was going to throw up. This product contains sweet almond oil and there is no scent of almond which is a milder scent and a lot more pleasing. Anyone who has used Moroccan products, Bumble or Aveda knows that these products all smell wonderful. Therefore, I do not consider this a salon quality.
Interesting to hear- it’s been a while since I’ve had it but I remember the smell being more like vanilla and coconut! Don’t think I’d like a bubblegum scent.
