As you may already know, I’ve been crazy about the “oxblood” trend for fall, and have carried it on through winter. I love Wet n Wild’s cherry bomb lipstick, but I wanted more! I had a ton of empty MAC products (mainly brush cleanser), so I grabbed 6 and headed to the nearest MAC to trade all of them for a brand new lipstick! I love the Back to MAC program, don’t you? I instantly gravitated towards Media, a dark cherry lipstick that looked pretty similar to my beloved Cherry Bomb.
And, once I swatched it, I knew I was in heaven. It’s a very buildable burgundy shade, so if you’re scared of dark shades, don’t be!
And here it is on my lips. It was a pain to photograph, but it looks gorgeous in person. I’ve been wearing it a lot, so try to spot them in my YouTube videos! 😉

Oxblood is such a cool trend…the color is amazing. I think a pair of jeans in that color would be great. Or maybe a jean jacket. And obviously nail polish in that color would be fantastic…OPI's new polish in "Skyfall" is an awesome color.

I totally agree. I have some pants and they are definitely my most worn!

how does this work for nw15 and green eyes and dark hair? i always see brown eyed beauties with these shades and i rarely see green/blue eyes. i steer clear of pinks and nudes because of kim k mostly and every girls trying to look liker her and it just doesn't suit me. sorry for the rant!! 🙂

I think this would look great on you! I'm probably nc15-20 (haven't used MAC face products in a while)- If you want something similar just to try it out, check out Wet n Wild's Cherry Bomb! Only 1.99 and super similar- I did a comparison of them!
